Common questions

What is GridVax?
GridVax is a U.S. infrastructure intelligence platform. It unifies public data on power plants, data centers, manufacturing, interconnection queue, transmission, permits, and capital investment into a national map, dashboard, and API for investors, developers, utilities, and advisors.
What data sources does GridVax use?
Primary sources include EIA-860M, LBNL Queued Up, HIFLD transmission data, FERC eLibrary, SEC EDGAR, USAspending, EPA TRI, municipal building permits, OpenStreetMap, and BTS NTAD. Every record includes source attribution.
How often is data updated?
GridVax runs automated ingestion on a daily cadence from verified public sources. Queue, facility, and signal layers refresh as upstream publishers release new files.
Is the infrastructure map free?
Yes. The national infrastructure map and base geospatial layers are free to explore without an account. Creating a free account unlocks dashboard preview and report catalog browsing.
What is included in Standard vs Enterprise?
Standard ($99/month) includes the full intelligence dashboard, change feed, alerts, CSV exports, REST API, and research reports. Enterprise ($999/month) adds higher API limits, SAML SSO, webhooks, CRM integrations, and dedicated support.
Does GridVax sell or train on my search data?
No. Customer queries, alerts, saved searches, and exports are not resold or used to train machine learning models.
Can I export data or use the API?
CSV exports and JSON API access are available on Standard and Enterprise plans. See the developer page at gridvax.com/developers and interactive docs at api.gridvax.com/docs.
Do you support enterprise SSO?
Enterprise accounts support SAML 2.0 and OIDC single sign-on with domain-verified provisioning. Contact support for IdP setup.
